The Atlas contains data and analyses organized according to three appropriate "levels of complexity" for users with different levels of experience in handling marine databases

Level 1 : users having
a large experience with ArcView and the use of shape
grid files [ format known in GIS systems]
|
|
Level 2 : users with
a limited experience with GIS systems, a robust visualization
program [ ArcExproler] is provided herein, it can visualize
and synthesize all data and products for this level
|
|
Level 3 : users who
want to use images of analysis only, the image can be
open under GIS provided software [ ArcExplorer] or under
any graphic editor. Images can also be imported directly
in document files [i.e. MS Word or WordPerfect]

The Atlas also contains original data from
which the Atlas was built |

The users can surf through the topic pages to find the databases that interest them
|
|
Load the desired files to your PC for analysis or visualization |
|
The documents are provided for all the files, the users should consult the original source for additional information |
|
Exercises are provided to show how to surf towards a typical database and copy it to your computer |
|
The information related to the use of files after loading is provided
|
