It is important to mention that Tunisia contributes as a full partner for each international cooperation project by the granting the consequent budget to each action.

Thanks to its important integration within the international scientific community, INSTM is an active member of the international network of research and oceanographic observation and data exchange within the frame of the programs IODE (International Oceanographic Data and Information exchange), and GOOS (Total Ocean Observing System) of the COI of the UNESCO. It is to be mentioned, also that INSTM is currently a signatory member of the MEDGOOS Memorandum and is an active member of the DOOS Africa committee.
