Rich with thousands of volumes with several works dating from the 16th century till nowadays, the library includes periodicals, CD ROMs, Video cassettes, dissertations, theses, reports, and sea charts. The data bases is specialized in the fields of aquaculture, living resources, marine environment and fishing techniques.

Photocopy of the consulted material is possible within the limits of the respect of the rights of intellectual property.
Documents loan is not authorized
The library puts at the disposal of its readers a certain number of bibliographical tools, in particular, online bibliographies such as ASFA (Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Abstracts) and Oceanic Abstracts.
The readers can also consult the computerized catalogue of the library, in addition, the personnel of the library is ready for any kind of personalized help.
